Help! No sound

so all of a sudden my ringtones wont work idk why they work every once in awhile but for the most part havent been working i cant figure out why please help ive had a custom rom put on for about a month or so now so i dont think thats it

First press Menu>Settings>Sound and make sure you have not set your phone into airplane mode, then make sure you haven't turned down your volume. First things that should be checked.

sound is all the way up deff checked it first airplane mode was off i turned it on and back off just to check still nothing

Since you have a custom rom loaded, maybe you have a bad flash.

Well, he says it's been working for a month. Have you put any new apps, etc in the phone recently? Changed anything? I could be the speaker is blown. Download something like 'Android Movie Ringtones' as soon as you enter it it will play the theme from the Godfather and that will tell you if the speaker is working.

If it is working, use Bay_Wolf's AIO to flash back to stock and then see is the phone works. If so then re-flash the custom ROM, which one is it by the way?

i talked to a guy over on xda developers and he told me some peoples speakers come loose and to push on it and see if it fixed and it did and if it keeps doing it ill flash back to stock and warranty exchange it.

Had the same problem.

Soundtrack from "MW2: Black Pegasus" - which plays at full blast, shook it lose. Just push in on the area around the back speaker under the metal cover plate, and everything works again.
