Help! Non-Stop Call Prompts! 🤬

Hey guys and gals,

Everytime I try to start an outgoing voice or video call on Whatsapp I am being spammed with a 'Start voice call?' Or 'Start video call?' Message.

I have tried uninstalling, reinstalling, and checked the settings inside out, even adding an App Permission for telephone. Nothing works.

I've noticed that this problem started after successfully downgrading from Pie to Oreo, with a full format and no consequent problems.

This issue has got me tearing what's left of my hair out. I am so frustrated. Does anyone here have any idea how to get rid of this infernal, repetetive confirmation every time I press the phone or video icon?

Sounds like you've rooted your phone. Might I suggest you try XDA Forums. That forum is probably the foremost place on advice, tips and ROMs for Android.
