I have a rooted S2 and want to get rid of the unnecessary software that came pre-installed. How do I do it so I don't delete the wrong thing? Does anyone have a list of apps that I can safely delete? Thanks in advance!

If you haven't done so, install Titanium Backup. This makes it easy to remove bloatware, such as any pre installed games, or anything with your carrier's label on it., e.g VZW Tones would be safe to remove. My rule of thumb is that if it has the 'Droid icon (how it's displayed in Titanium) next to it, don't mess with it. Titanium is also a lifesaver if you ever get into flashing ROMs, as it allows quick reinstall of you favorite user apps.

I have been trying to do this with Titanium Backup but I still need a list of items or apps to delete. I got the T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S2 SGH-t898.

The links do help in showing the app at work. However, I would like to know the list for T-Mobile and not AT&T. Thanks "H"!

Thanks a lot for your help on this. I got rid of the bloatware and my device is running smoothly!
