help! OTA update bricked my phone!

so i had my phone rooted with custom CWM recovery, and the OTA update came out, i told it not to flash custom recovery and to restore root access, and my phone bricked. i went through the steps to download the stock ROM and flash it, and it's still bricked. i can't find the ROM anywhere, and i don't know if i should even try flashing the ROM from recovery, or if that will even work. PLEASE help me?

Can you still boot into recovery or download mode? If so, you're not bricked.

Now then, you told what not to flash custom recovery and restore root access? I'm pretty sure the OTA won't ask about anything like that, so exactly what did you do? Most important question: You're in the Sprint GS3 forum. Do you in fact have a Sprint GS3? If not, any advice you get here will be wrong, and might actually brick your phone.

Confirm that you have a Sprint GS3 (SPH-L710), and let me know if you can boot into recovery, and if so whether it's stock recovery or CWM.

If you can't boot into recovery, an you boot into download (ODIN) mode?

CWM recovery told me that the update would remove the custom recovery, and it may have removed root access. i managed to fix it, though. i flashed MB1 to it, now i need to flash stock recovery and un root so i can get the system update and have multi-window

I would say, find a stock ROM unrooted on MB1 or even MD4. Flash that and see if that helps. If the ROM os stock and unrooted, that should have stock recovery on it already.

If you just want to get to MD4 and multii-window, you don't need to unroot. If you still have CWM recovery, just follow the steps in post #2, here: http://forums.androidcentral.com/sprint-galaxy-s-iii/272331-your-way-update-md4.html
