I have had a Samsung Transform for several months now, and overall, I love it. However, from the day I got the phone, it has frequently jumped to search mode when I use a key on the top line of the qwerty keyboard. I could be in the middle of a text message, filling in a form online, etc., and all of the sudden, I am doing a google search.
I called Sprint several months ago, and they told me it was a known problem with the phone, and that for now, the only fix was to hit the search button on the phone, to INTENTIONALLY initiate a search, and then hit the back button to get out of search mode. That does work, but the problem is still annoying. Spoke to a Sprint customer service rep today, and while he really helped me out on another issue, he didn't know anything about this problem or how to fix it. Any ideas?
