help phone shutting off randomly and killing the battery.

...im running a stock 2.2.2 optimus 3d. I factory reset it last month after my wifi had issues. I have 17 apps from Google play downloaded. As well as a 16 gig SD card. My phone will randomly shut off 3-4 times a day. Usually under heavy usage. I game text surf etc. During standby I get great battery life. The min I use regular to heavy the battery just drains in a blink of an eye. Tried it all battery fixers wake locks cache clearer task killers. Not one single thing has helped. I can't isolate any rogue apps. My battery stats tells me my battery is healthy??? Help its so annoying. Shuts off and I need to plug in charger to start up again. Usually from 0 batterry. What's going on?????? Please help do I need new battery. I even cleaned contacts. Please please help

I'd say try a new battery and see if that helps.
