Help picking a phone?

Hi,

Well ever since the Note 2, I've been the biggest Note fanboy, currently using a Note 4, and an S7 Edge as a backup (just contact family really).

However, the Note 4 overheats and the battery drains really fast, I had the motherboard replaced 6 months ago, not sure if it's worth getting it seen to again or just buy a new phone. The S7 Edge seems fine, but has that annoying pink line going down it.

I'm torn between the Note 8 and S9 Plus, I'd be buying either refurbished from a reputable site. The Note 8 currently at £447 64GB, and the S9 Plus at £551 128GB. Either way I'd be paying for them over 6 month installments since I need to get myself a PC too.

Both phones are the same minus some hardware differences. One big difference would be the stylus. You say you have a note 4 do you see your self using the stylus a lot? if so i would go for the note 8 if not then the S9 is also a great option.
