Help! Pin suddenly stopped working

Hi all.

This morning my phone is suddenly telling me that my pin is incorrect from the lock screen.

It will still unlock with face recognition

I've used the same pin for about 5 years so I know it's correct.

Usually I would just reboot and see if it fixes itself but I also have a boot passcode set to the same thing and I'm worried that if I turn my phone off I'll never be able to restart it.

Can anyone offer any help please?

I can't see that option.
I see unlock but it says my phone isn't set up to use remote unlock and if I try and turn it on it asks for my pin

I did the soft reset (volume down button +power button) and it's working now

I also had the same issue, you have to unlock your phone by finger or face, then change the pin from the settings. It just like phone require new pins in 3-4 months that why you are facing this issue
