I want to turn off the backlight on the home, menu, back and search. Anyone know how to? Thank you

Well the easiest fix is to download Screen Filter, it's a free app and just unclick the Enable Softkey Illumination.

I did but for some reason its not working on my phone

Home, Personalilze, Shortcut, select ScreenFilter, and create a shortcut for 96.1% and deselect "Enable Backlights."

Or do like me, use Llama (very cool app) and use it as a "locale" plug-in. Screenfilter is underrated, I'd pay for it if he had option to disable the notification icon.
