Hey guys, So I'm getting htc one however on my contract i have very limited internet, does blink feed connect using internet that will take my data? if so can i disable it?

How much data are you given per month? Blink feed could consume your data is the frequency of when it fetches data is oftentimes.

Very little, 100mb and I do plan to use it on something else. There must be a way to turn it off ? thanks for answer

I heard nova luncher could do the trick? could anyone confirm it? Also could you tell me how much performance it takes

Why have a smart phone with that much data? You won't be able to use anything if is intended for.

That is very little data honestly. Here's what you can do:

1.Install a launcher (Nova is great). This will remove blinkfeed.
2. Go to sync settings and uncheck apps that you will not use so they don't refresh and use data.
3. adjust email settings so they don't refresh often (manually only)
4. check power saver so data turns off after a while of inactivity.

In the settings of blink feed you can set it to only auto update over WiFi.

Thanks a lot for the answers guys You see the thing is i got it as a gift and I currently have blackberry 9810, was interested to know what they are planning to do when they decide to make bbm free. Maybe they will give me more internet instead? Not sure...
