*HELP* Questioning my Rezound!

So first when I got it...I had no screen plastic protection that usually be on the phones display...did yours? Second...the screen the second day i had it..(and I never dropped it ) once a day it every other at least the display screen is split in two ...a top and bottom both of the same thing just small and split but duplicate....do urs do that too? Okay so the latest and by the way I've had this.phone now for three weeks... Ok...I was on the phone a bit ago and it just shut off...I hadn't noticed til my question went unanswered...I looked at phone and it was off. Tried to power on buy total failure. I had to.remove batt and try again which good thing for me it did cuz I was gon cry. Really! Ok so after I resumed phone call ...I notice the damn screen.flickering...I mean wth! Was this really a new phone... And if so...out the box...like this...this.sheet blows! So.pissed off. Any suggestions or two cents would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Grrrr!

Angry in PG..the storms will have nothing on me if this don't get correctified fast. And yes....I.said correctified! That's my word n I own it.

Sorry to hear about your situation, I know from experience how frustrating phone problems can be. It's obvious you got a phone that was manufactured wrong. New phones do not come with screen protectors, I paid $20 for mine. Besides the Mobile Hotspot not working correctly I have had no issues like you describe.

If I was you I would of called *611 yesterday and asked them to ship you out a new Rezound Fedex Overnight AM, I know they will comply. You should have no problems once you get another Rezound. Good luck, hope you get it sorted. Oh and don't hold your breathe for the ICS update, once you start stressing about it it's hard to stop

Personally I'm way more interested in the JellyBean update for our phones!

yeah you need an exchange. They will still be there if you call, but it will not ship until thursday...Sorry for your issues and I hope they get resolved quickly

We have had two of them that would get the split screen syndrome. We tried resets and partition cache wipes and no go. We ended up getting them replaced. It is a common issue.

Ok.....so I verizon and spoke with someone ...I informed her of every issue I shared with you. First off the rep was really sweet ...she changed my demeanor off hers alone. Anywho ...she said that the issues I'm having is no issue they've heard of coming from the rezound...she instructed me to sent power phone down remove batt and wait five mins then restart..she said she'd send something to the phone....said if I have problem still.after that then call back and speak to technical support ..she made a log of the call n my complaints...tech can read it..n basically they send me another phone. My question then will be..if it will be new or refurbished?...not to mention I just bought this phone three weeks ago now and already it went from $199.99 to $79.99 and I feel ukked on that
..but anyways I bought a new.phone that was suppose to perform like new..soo I hope they don't try sending me refurbished.

It was 80$ 3 weeks ago, I would go back to the store you bought it from and get an adjustment *or* return it and buy it again at the lower price.

Next, it will be a refurb. Very rarely do they send out a new one.

Forgot to mention the rep said she was sorry she couldn't do anything about the price so she gave me a 25 dollar credit and she's giving me some free screen protectors which will be shipped out tomorrow. Yep..now that's everything...oh and. When I purchased it ..it was still 199.99 at Verizon which is where I.purchased it...maybe other stores.had it online someplace I dunno but not vzw.

I have gotten full credit with Vzw csr when I have purchased within 30 days of price drop or sale. You need to figure out time difference between the time you bought it and when the sale started. Call customer service again and if they still don't ask for the supervisor and nicely complain. It sounds like you bought it close to sale date and the fact they are sending you a refurb I wouldn't settle. The reason they are giving you screen protectors is to try to make you feel you got something free swaying you from going any further with it.

Never buy anything from the verizon store itself.. they usually try to package some mail in rebate stuff etc.. just by going to best buy you can get around all that stuff.. Just look online.. most phones Verizon wants money for you can get free elsewhere

Did you get your Rezound free from best buy? I have bought a lot of phones from Verizon and they don't usually have rebate packages when I buy from them.
