Help restore Froyo backup

My dInk is rooted. I have Clockworkmod Recovery installed.

I tried to install my 1st ROM on my dInk....cm7 nightly 150. Now it just stays in cm7 boot animation. I did backup before.

Now when I boot to cwm recovery (hold volume down, press power) I nav to Backup and Restore, press power button, it stays on picture of tophat with the circle arrow...I can press power button to return to menu but that's it. No menu options actually work. Help.

In clockwork you use the Optical Joystick button to select. The power button is for going back. You just went back beyond the main menu.

When you flashed CM7 did you wipe Data, Cache and Dalvik? If not then give it another shot by clearing those three items in Clockwork and then flashing the CM7 zip. (If you used ROM Manager to load the zip it's under /clockwork/download/download.cyanogemmod.com/get )
