Help! Ringtone issues after Jellybean update

Hi,

I just updated to Jellybean and now for some reason my phone will not ring unless a ringtone is set for a particular caller on my Galaxy Nexus. If there is no ringtone set, it simply will not ring. It will not ring even if I set the default ringtone to one that was originally on the phone. Help !
