hi..I need help with my nexus 4. Had it for about two months now. Did not drop it,nor any damage to it. Since the last hour or so, the phones shows this column on top of the screen that shows such as P:0/1 dX:-1.5 dY -12.5 Xv:0.014 ...so on so forth. each time i touch the screen, i see something like a marker which will leave lines on the screen as i swipe across the screen. not sure if it makes sence but i can email a screenshot to whoever wants it. thanks.
Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.
Cheers!!

contacted google and they emailed me a troubleshooting email, which pretty much gives me directions to restore it to the factory setting. want to see if anyone has a better suggestion before i try that.

Do you have something checked in developer options? Under input you should not have show touches or pointer location checked. Maybe got activated after your reset?

Factory reset would have been my suggestion...

Can you post the screenshot here (rather than PM on request) as it might stir up a better answer???

Well if you don't know how to get to developer options it probably isn't the solution, but try anyway if you wish ... go to settings-about phone-build number. and tap that like 7 times then you will have developer options under settings you may have to slide the on/off toggle to on before you can look at the settings. If they are already unchecked I am afraid another factory reset will be your only option

Problem fixed. Thanks frenziedfemale and others for your suggestions. I looked up , developer options..tapped Build No. 7 times and finally in developer options ,unchecked the pointer location. And it works. Thanks so much. Not sure how it got checked on its own after 2 months of use . Anyways, thanks a ton. Cheers all.!!!!!
