Help! Turned on my Note 9 it's blank

It sounds like something with the update caused the One UI launcher's data to be cleared. @mustang7757, remind me, is there a way to back up the One UI homescreen setup in Samsung Cloud?

That was one of the troubleshooting options. Restoring homescreen from backup. It didn't work for me or others. One person said it worked for them.

Oh ok. But are you certain you were backing up your homescreen setup? (I don't have a Samsung device, so I'm not familiar with those options.)

I realize that, which is why I called in @mustang7757 for his familiarity with Samsung. But there are also general concepts that I can try to help with. My question was about actually backing up your homescreen -- if there's an option to turn that on or off, and if yours was off, then you obviously wouldn't be able to restore the homescreen setup.

The Home Up module in Good Lock also gives you the option to back up the home screens. Just FYI.
