Yes you can or smart switchIt sounds like something with the update caused the One UI launcher's data to be cleared. @mustang7757, remind me, is there a way to back up the One UI homescreen setup in Samsung Cloud?

AgreeOk, so @veggie59, that's one way to prevent this kind of glitch from causing headaches in the future.

Oh ok. But are you certain you were backing up your homescreen setup? (I don't have a Samsung device, so I'm not familiar with those options.)
Huh... This is a Samsung note 9 forum lol.
I agree , your knowledge can help regardless which phone anyone has , Veggie59 also great member here.I realize that, which is why I called in @mustang7757 for his familiarity with Samsung. But there are also general concepts that I can try to help with. My question was about actually backing up your homescreen -- if there's an option to turn that on or off, and if yours was off, then you obviously wouldn't be able to restore the homescreen setup.
The Home Up module in Good Lock also gives you the option to back up the home screens. Just FYI.Yes you can or smart switch
