install the gingerbread update manually. Done.

i cant do it manually because its rooted and doesnt show the icon for att updrade or update ????

To unroot, you can re-run Ace Hack Kit (it has an option for unroot) or run the RUU file from htc.com which will wipe your files and put on unrooted Gingerbread.
