Two... that's right TWO unusable Xperia XZ2 Compacts

Hi

Dec 23 I bought a XZ2 compact and after a year it came up with a message saying " No sim card no service"

I tried every tip online, none of them worked.

So I purchased a replacement Jan this year.

It too has now died with EXACTLY the same message.

Why would my phones be dying like this within a year from the same thing?

The versions I have been using are the single sim version so there is no second slot to try.

Have you asked 2 Degrees for a replacement SIM, in case it's the SIM that keeps failing?

My wifes sim doesn't work on either of the phones.

Do you know if NZ is facing the same VoLTE issues as Australia, where the phone needs to support VoLTE specifically on that carrier in order to work at all? For example, in Australia, there are phones that are known to work on VoLTE elsewhere in the world, but are not supported by Australian providers.
