HELP! updating OTA to nougat. Restarting screen "frozen" for 45 minutes. Any recourse?

I agreed to the OTA upgrade for my unlocked Moto G4. The download went okay,. However, after the install, the progress bar is at 100% and the message "Android System Update Restarting...". has been frozen on the screen for at least 45 minutes. Any solutions?

Welcome to Android Central! If it's still frozen by now, then force a shutdown by pressing and holding Power for about 10-15 seconds. Then boot into recovery and wipe the cache: https://motorola-global-portal.cust...prod_answer_detail/a_id/111301/p/30,6720,9686. Now see if you can reboot normally.
