Help, usb not working by

My lg g5 ls992 is not recognized by a computer when i plug it in. If I do something to make windows refresh the driver it shows usb device not recognized for a short time. Windows makes the connected sound and within 30 seconds makes the disconnected sound while it is still plugged in. My wife has the same phone and her works fine. I have tried everything, reinstall drivers, usb debugging, usb mode, factory reset. I even tried swapping the bottom module. Nothing is working.

You've also tried different cables, I assume?

Yes, tried 2 cables and wifes phone, same model and age, works with it

In that case, I'd wonder if there's some problem with the connection between the bottom module and the main body. Not sure what else you can do besides bringing it to a repair shop -- I assume it's no longer under warranty.
