Hi.

I have the new galaxy gear watch (S4?) I got it for Christmas.

I cant figure out this galaxy gear calendar at all!

So I am flying over seas in March. I entered all my flight info in my google calendar. How do I see it on my galaxy gear watch? It will show me the 30 day calendar for March, but if I touch the day, say 19, it sends me back to today.

Also is it possible to set an alarm for a calendar item? So if i have a drs appt on feb 1st at 10am, i want the watch to vibrate on feb 1st at 8am reminding me of the appt.

Thanks for any help

Unfortunately the calendar app is incredibly basic. I thought I must missing something, trying to select a day, as you've tried with the 19th. It just doesn't have that capability. I know, rubbish, hey? All you have is a list starting today which you can scroll down.

Are you talking about the most recent Galaxy Watch, or the old Galaxy Gear?

Ok, I'll move this from the general Samsung Smartwatches forum to the Galaxy Watch forum, since I think that will get you more views.

If I press on the calendar icon on my watch, and select a date, then I can scroll through the day-by-day items on my Google calendar, including the weather forecast summary for each day. May be because, in my phone settings, I have notificactions turned on for Google calendar? Not sure if that is the reason.

But whatever date you think your are selecting, you aren't. The scrollable list that comes up begins with today (or if you have nothing today, then the next day with appointments). Unless miraculously yours just works.
Try this: create an event for 1st March 2019 (on your phone's Google Calendar for instance). Then open calendar watch app, scroll to the month of March 2019. Tap on '1'. It won't take you to your 1st March 2019 appointment, it will take you to today. Rubbish.
I would love for you to tell me I'm wrong, but I can't see it.

You're wrong, from what I can tell.

Mine works fine, just as I (and you) would expect.
