help w/Google voice

When I talk only 50% comes out right.I have used it for about 6 months and have talked into it and use it a lot on Facebook and it just does not want to work. However, it is working fine for me now here. How do I delete words, paragraph, hit return, without having to go to the keyboard. Where can I find a tutorial. Need help.
