I have had the S8 for about 2 weeks now and everything was fine until a few days ago. My wifi keeps connecting and disconnecting from my router and saying internet may not be available. My iPhone 7 Plus or any other device connected does not have this issue staying connected. Anyone else having this issue? BTW I have forgot the network, restarted the router/modem, reset network setting, and set ip to static on S8. Still get intermitting connection.

I'm also having these problems again off and on. It was all good after the update for about a week, but then this weekend it started acting up again.

try turning smart switch off, and/or using a WiFi analysis app to find a more clear area of WiFi spectrum and change you network to usr that instead of auto. I was having the same issue, and it seems to be better now that I've changed those two things.

Mines still acting up. The only fix I've found so far is restarting my router which is a pain.

i would try and update the firmware on your router if there's one available could be the router not talking to your phone for some odd reason. I've seen that happen before with my older phones once I've updated worked like a charm.

There is another post in here that I am trying to find to see if there is an update to it, but in the meantime, this is not a Router issue, there are multiple users with this issue and I happen to be one of them. No other device in my home has issues..... And I have two routers... And I have been at other locations, same issue. I have pretty much turned off Wifi, I have an unlimited plan again, but honestly I don't want to stream or use it to the point I get slowed down, so I hope a fix is found..

This. Yeah it's definitely not my router either. I have multiple devices that don't have this problem. It's indemnic to the S8.

Going on two weeks my self and connect to at least 10 routers a day and no issues at all. I would try a factory reset to see if that works

There is another similar thread and the OP fixed the issue by turning off the Hotspot 2.0 toggle in advanced WiFi settings.

So to follow up. I did a factory reset on my router about 4-5 days ago and voila I have not had another issue since with my S8. I have tested since to see if I have had any intermitting issue and none. I am assuming after a few a few firmware updates with my router it may have caused some issues so the factory reset helped. Hope this helps

Thx for the update. I should check to see if there's a firmware update available.

Smart switch off and didn't fix for me. I'm debating a factory reset on my router but I'm running DDWRT so i'm highly doubtful that's the problem.

I found a quick work around on how to fix this temporarily until Samsung issues a patch.
just turn off 5ghz SSID broadcasting and you should be ok for now.
here is a quick how to video i made on just in case.
