help!!! wifi problem.

I have this problem with my wi fi on my s3. When im near at the router the signal is very strong. But the moment i went to my room, the signal drops off. And to thinks its likes 3 steps away. I don't understand why is it like this. The phone of my mom is working very well with the wifi even if she's on the second floor of our house. I did everything like shutting off the router, then i already did the *#0011# nothing happened, please anyone help me how to solve this problem of mine... thanks in advance.

There's most likely a bronze spring finger coming off the motherboard, pressing on the contact on the wifi antenna - that's how the antenna connects to the radio. If the spring isn't bent tightly enough against the antenna, it's not making contact so, in effect, your wifi radio has no antenna and the range becomes VERY short. (It could come from the factory that way, it can be barely pressing enough and weakened over time, or you could have hit or dropped the phone just right to dislodge the spring.) In any event, it has to go to the shop. There are no buttons you can press or apps you can run to bend the spring tighter.

Before this happens, i dropped my phone on the floor and i have to change the lcd. And when i get back my phone, this is the problem now. So you mean rukbat i have to return my phone at the shop for this?

Hey so, I have a Coolpad Quattro 4g Lite. My problem is, when I connect to my WiFi (or anyone else's) the WiFi is working but only a little bit. After a while, it still shows my wifi bar on the top right corner of the screen and says I am connected to whatever WiFi I am on but when I go on all my apps they say I am not connected. I try to get rid of this by turning the WiFI off for a minte then back on and it works,... But only for a little then goes back to before. I have tried resetting phone, factory reset, high factory reset, none of those works. Please help me because I just wanna use this phone already :/
