M MikeLip Well-known member Jul 18, 2011 1,373 39 0 Dec 27, 2012 #2 Sync tells Android to go out periodically and fetch email from the server. Otherwise you have to manually sync to see if you got new email. Kind of a poor mans push, but more of a pull.
