Help with Bixby (won't take voice commands) and pinch/zoom, please

Hi there,

I'm back in the world of Android with the S8+ (my last was the Note2) and loving it so far.

Two sticking points: When I hit the Bixby button, I am taken to the homescreen for Bixby, but do NOT get the opportunity to offer voice commands (lower brightness, play music, etc). I'm in Singapore, and use StarHub. Not sure if that would be a factor.

Also, I can NOT get pinch and zoom to work pretty much anywhere. This is a big problem, given I am now officially middle-aged but still in denial about the need for contacts.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi yourself. Bixby voice control has not been implemented, at least in the US, so that may be your first issue. Bixby is kind of a non-started at this point.

Truthfully, I have not played with the pinch/zoom but I believe its not a global capability on the phone but limited to specific apps like the browser. May be all wet on that though.

Oh, and denial won't help
