Help with camera

I got my s8 plus at release and I feel like it's not taking crisp clear pictures. My s7 took better pictures. Is there a setting I'm maybe not using or something?

Have you wiped off the camera lens? It's common for skin oils and such to build up on them and make everything hazy like it's not in focus.

Yes. Multiple times. Im really not sure whats going on. It seems to be getting worse..maybe its a defect. They were crystal clear in the beginning.
