Help with clean reset of used nexus

I picked up a used Nexus one! The bootloader is locked / not rooted. Is the CLEAR STORAGE option in the boot menu adequate to reset the device and clear any data, programs, and possibly malicious items? I know the SD card will not be affected so manage that separately. Or is there more to be sure it is totally clean? Thank you

Just do a factory data reset in the Privacy settings page, brings it back to basically if you booted it up first time out of the box
