Help with dropbox and lnk. folder

I am using dropbox. I have a folder on my computer that has pdf, word and excel files in it. When I try to open this folder on my phone I get the message "Can't open XXXXXX.lnk Please download an app that can open this file." What app do I need to download to open this lnk. file?

Sounds like you moved a shortcut to the actual files into the Dropbox folder and not the actual file. Go to your computer, then to the folder... right click one of the file, select Properties, does it have a Shortcut tab... if so, then you don't have the actual file... it should tell you where the Target file is located.
