Help with galaxy gear

So I am considering purchasing a galaxy gear and I just wonder if someone who has one could tell me what apps are available for it. I've scoured the Web looking for a list and haven't been able to see one.

You can only see the app store if you click on galaxy gear app while connected.

There aren't many. Some news watch faces, there's some social ones and some note taking ones. That's about it.

The app I am really wanting is Google play support. I use that almost exclusively since I switched from iPhone and would love to be able to control what songs are playing from the gear. If that works then I'm pretty sure I'm going to make the leap.

The GG is to new for developers to roll out apps for it.... you'll (we're) have to be patient for now.

check out the xda forum. if you are willing to use a rom they've got some great stuff going there....bluetooth tethering....hooray.

That's not true!! The media controller is the same one that shows up on your lock screen and in your notification bar. ANY music source that's playing on your phone you will be able to stop start and skip with the Gear.
