Help with GBOARD and One Handed function

Hi everyone,

Name is Ben, first time posting here.

Just got the 9" tab and am trying to use Gboard. For whatever reason, the one- hand function doesn't work no matter what I do (I'm following the directions of holding the comma and then selecting the hand box; this works on all my other Android devices like a charm). Using latest software on both.

Anyone else have this issue?

Same issue on my 8 inch. You can switch to the Samsung keyboard and it will allow smaller one handed keyboard or split keyboard.

I have had my S2 8.0 for about 2 weeks. Typing on the S2 is so much more difficult compared to my old 7-inch tablet. The extra width just makes it that much more difficult to reach for the central keys on the keyboard. Also, the very narrow side bezel causes the fleshy part of my palm to rub against the side keys resulting in lots of typing mistakes. I do not like using the split keyboard.

Thanks Funpig. What an odd thing for Samsung or Google to disable? I'd imagine it's on the Samsung side... Personally I can't stand the Samsung keyboard after using Gboard for so darn long.
