Help with Google Calendar Widget

Hey all,

I use the Google Calendar, the new one from Play Store, and its widget. For some reason it will only display 2 events, even if I stretch to full size. Now, I don't have many events, and the next one isn't til a week away, but if there is room to display it, I figured it should. I already went into desktop browser and set to the maximum 4 week display to see if that would help. There's nothing under the settings of the app, any ideas?

It functions this way for me using the shutter from Action Launcher. It only displays events that are within a few days, for some reason.

Then what the heck is the point of making the widget any bigger? I guess it helps for people have write down daily and hourly things in the calendar... sucks.

Exactly what I was thinking. There are a lot of alternatives in the Play Store that will provide a more custom look of the upcoming items/task you have scheduled in Calendar.

I think that is more for launchers that can change the grid size of the UI. If you go from stock 4 wide to six, you would probably want to change the widget.
