Help with Google voice

I need help with a recent problem. My Google voice has suddenly stopped working. It's not enabled. And when I go to language and input, the option to select Google is not there. Any ideas? Thanks

Did you disable any apps recently?

No, I checked all system apps. And Google apps. The option for voice input in the language and input settings does not exist. Last resort will be a factory reset.

Try the opening the Google app, tap "More" on the bottom right, tap "Settings" and check "Phone" under the Google Assistant settings.
