help with linking contacts

this is how ive done it...

in People, Menu, View.. i have my Google contacts and Facebook for HTC Sense contacts checked...also i have Only With Phone Number checked so none of the people without #s on FB are shown...if i dont have their # in my phone means i dont want their # from facebook

if your contacts in ur phone have their phone # on FB the TB should automatically recognize this after a little bit and give you a notification for them to be linked...

For some reason, its pulling phone numbers from facebook, even when I have all of my options selected like yours. I haven't downloaded the FB app, so I don't know why its pulling FB numbers?

after i click fb for htc sense then select the person from my fb list of friends it just goes back to the previous screen and does not link them.

I was having the same issue where I would try to manually link and it would never work. I tried the edit contact >> no changes >> save but that didn't work either.

What I just did to fix is that all my numbers were in the format XXXYYYZZZZ. To fix, I went in and edited all my contacts to be 1XXXYYYZZZZ then did the manual link from my phone contact to the HTC Sense contact and suddenly it started working for a few contacts. Hopefully that helps out...
