Help with MMS

Hey guys and gals. I'm brand new to the Droid World. Me and my wife have had BBs for the past two years but when the Thunderbolt came out she had to have one. The phone has worked fine since we got it (on the release date). She is not very savvy when it comes to technology so she doesn't come anywhere close to using the phone to its full potenial. All she does is look at Facebook and play some games she has downloaded. Heres the issue, the other day it stopped downloading MMS text. It will come up and say download but when you prees the download tab it will act as though its going to get the message but then it says failure. Any ideas on how to fix this problem?

Have you try rebooting the device first or a battery pull?

I'm not saying this to be an @ss... Do you have network coverage when you're trying the DL? Only reason I ask is cuz this happened to me when I was in a bad 4G signal area

We had coverage that I know for sure.

I know how to do a battery pull but I'm not sure how to reboot the phone?

Hold the power button down. When the menu popsup, it'll have an option to restart.

Ok I tried the reboot and still it doesn't download. I was mistaking about one thing though, it will open pic messages. It will not download video messages. I don't know if that makes any difference. Thanks for all the suggestions so far guys.
