Help with pairing media link

I am having some problems pairing the media link. It is asking for a pin. I've tried 0000, it doesn't authenticate.

1. It is plugged into the appropriate HDMI input on the TV.
2. It is plugged into an outlet.
3. The blue light is on on the media link.
4. I've tried it with and without mobile data.
5. There is just no getting around that pin.

Does anyone know what I am doing wrong?

Nevermind--it tells you the pin once you are on the HDMI channel. How dumb of me not to know that.
