Help with sound problem on LG G Stylo metro pcs version

[AC Question]

Yesterday i was playing a game (asphalt 8) on my LG G Stylo from metro pcs when it suddenly froze and my phone turned off and went into a boot loop. after an hour or two i had no choice but to hard reset the phone. After the hard reset i noticed the phone had no sound even though the volume was raised to the highest. The audio jack also doesnt detect anything plugged in. The worst problem occurs when i lower the volume to 0 the device crashes and then freezes and even after taking the battery out and powering back on, the device simply fails to operate to the extent it is unusable unless i hard reset it again. Any solutions or ideas on what might be the problem???

If everything is stock and youre not rooted, it might be a faulty device.
