Help with syncing facebook contacts!

Can someone please help me sync my facebook contacts with my phone contacts? I have selected "sync with existing contacts" in the FB setting, restarted the phone. When I go into my contact list, and try to link the contacts by pressing the symbol in the upper right hand corner and select "press to link to FB contact", it just keeps taking me back to the same screen over and over again, never linking the two contacts! I have tried to uninstall FB, but it won't let me...will only let me uninstall "updates". Please help!

Have you signed into facebook in Sense? You can actually link facebook contacts with out the facebook app, as sense has this built in to it. My past experience on my rooted phone and the facebook app was not all that pleasant if I remember correctly.

So maybe try deleting the facebook app all together, link everything in sense, then reload the facebook app.

How do you sign into Facebook in Sense? And I've tried uninstalling the facebook app all together, and it will only let me uninstall updates.

Hmmmm... ya, so I looked today, and there is no facebook for HTC sense anymore.

Did you try -setting -accounts & sync -Facebook -Make sure contacts is checked to be synced?
