Hi everyone!
I just got a new cheap tablet from a local store. It's been having problems connecting to the wi-fi. When I flick the wi-fi on, sometimes it says 'Turning wi-fi on' but then it just turns off again. Other times, I'm able to connect but then the wi-fi signal is only grey. Other times, I could connect just fine.
Question: Is the problem with the tablet? There are several devices connecting to our wifi, (2 laptops, 2 tablets, 1 Nintendo 3DS) and does it affect that?
I have a feeling I didn't properly set-up the IP addresses and they conflict one another, because everytime I connect just this one laptop I have to go cmd and type ipconfig /release then ipconfig /renew all the time. I'm also using the Google DNS because when I use the 'Obtain DNS automatically' it says there's a conflict with the DNS server and no one could connect to the wi-fi
Thank you so much for your help! If you help out, I'll buy you some ice cream.
