how can i root my lg optimus t using z4root without losing alll of my sd card along with partitioning my sd card and do i need service or can i just use wifi? i have alot of music on my lg optimus t and i dont want to lose it all nor do i want to redownload it all back onto my phone

I rooted my OpT using Gingerbreak and it didn't touch any of my 230 song library and I only have 300mb to play with (out of 2gig).
