Check the headphone jack for foreign particles

Best I can offer is check for foreign stuff in the jack... If nothing is there, warranty

Some other Photon users on another forum had similar issue, the headset jack was bad

The Corp Sprint store replaced the headset jack under warranty NC

I would see if there is a local Sprint Corp store in your area & bring it in
