Help!

I got my galaxy nexus from best buy yesterday and the signal has been on and off but mostly off. Can't make calls if I have signal and 1/3 of the time texts don't send. Is this because the phone is new or what?

sounds like a bad phone. however, if you live someplace with marginal signal strength, perhaps the slightly weaker reception strength of the gnex on average may just not be enough.

Might be.. at most I get 3 bars of solid 4g then within seconds the bars have an 'x'

I'd take it back and exchange it.
