HELP!!!

I have not been able to access Google Play Store ever since one of my apps did an auto update. I'm using an LG Optimus Black. I have cleared cache. Still getting the message "No connection - retry". My wi-fi is connected & I'm getting my 4G Network. Really need play store restored to play installed games. Very mad, sad & not a happy camper. Thank you for any help
