Here are pictures of the S2 3g

I thought this observation was interesting.

-Looking at the Gear S2 3G by itself from its side, the 2mm size increase is noticeable. When the watch is worn, however, the watch looks slimmer because it gets pressed down into your skin.

At this point this is the version I am preparing to buy.

It certainly will now be a try it on in the AT&T store before I buy it situation where as before I was going to just buy it online on release day.

Yeah, but it doesn't really seem to "press down into your skin". I definitely want to see it in person, yet I don't think I'm gonna be happy with the aesthetic, even though it has the functionality I'm looking for.

I was kinda on the edge on waiting for the 3g but damn that thing is hideous. I can definitely live without phone calls on my watch now after seeing the pictures.

With my smartphone, functions come first. But with a watch where its out in the open for others to see all the time, fashion comes first and functionality comes second, especially if I have a phone already. I can see why the classic wont come with a 3g version, it wouldnt be able to maintain that classic look.

EDIT: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LgDvRnd3LOY

Heres a youtube vid. The only one so far for the 3g. The problem is the design. Instead if increasing the thickness upward or even making the watch wider say 46 to 48 mm to fit the hardware, they crammed in into a cone pointing downwards which leaves that very ackward space between the watch and your wrist.

Oh wow, that's disappointing. Definitely gonna have to see it in person.

The guy in the YouTube video says he can't wear S2 3g with dress shirt since gets caught in his shirt sleeve. Not that he was particularly interested in wearing the regular S2 with business attire.
