Here's the flossy "real" review

re: Here's the flossy "real" review

Charging cable will be gone within the next 2-3 years, I bet. All in the name of "reducing waste" since everyone must have them since they have the bricks.

Company is being rated with Social score, this is why we see the things we're seeing. GREEN GREEN GREEN.

I am going to be that person... You couldn't walk over to the AC to turn it on. Just giving you a hard time this lazy Sunday.

In my case, I had a broken TV remote… didn’t care to replace the remote. But I decided to get a USB-C IR blaster adapter instead…

It comes in useful at times.. even programmed the IR blaster to work with all the TVs around the house.

Oh no!!! What will White Shoes do if Flossy no longer receives cables?

It's like Christmas for White Shoes every time Flossy does an unboxing.

I see your point, but most that want to use those already have them. Charging brick everyone uses, so those should be included for sure.

I actually don't think that's correct.

I don't have any headphone adapters, I went from an S10 which had a headphone jack to an S21 Ultra... Although I did get free Galaxy buds pro...

But if you think about how long the normal folk keep their phones it is entirely plausible that most people don't have a headphone adapter or a PD capable charger.

re: Here's the flossy "real" review

I notice Flossy does that with quite a few of his reviews: he'll say the phone is good, but if you have the precious iteration, it's not worth the upgrade. I appreciate honesty like that from a phone reviewer.

I always appreciate a Flossy Carter review. He actually uses the phones after he reviews them, unlike other professional YouTubers who use the phone for two weeks and go back to their iPhones and never follow up with a one month later or six month later videos.

I love Flossy, i think hes the only one whos reviews i actually watch. That being said i dont always agree with him but i dont think he ever just bs his way through a review.

I like watching his reviews also, he goes thru and shows the actual phone working. My only thing I make fun of him on is his repeated negatives, some of them are just nit picking and repetitive on every phone, price, no sd card, no IR blaster, no audio jack, no charger head, no dongle, the box isn't pretty. And let's not forget it's a major major major major major go. . Almost forgot the smell test for the ladies.

He does a good job. Apparently he sells his phones, never knew that until this review.

I do like the longevity with his reviews. You know you're getting a quality assessment of the product.

That, and he actually uses the phones, even after his reviews. Most other of the big names use it for two weeks and return to their iPhones.

Nah, I don’t think they return it… sometimes they post a 3 or 6 month review. But they only revisit it just to push out content whereas they only using it for a day or two. But I’ll prefer to watch a JimmyIsPromo or Sakitech (even though most of his talking points is recycled) because at least they are using it throughout the duration of time until the new flagship comes out

Yes, and he discusses how long he's used the devices in question. He's one of my favourite reviewers!

Sadly a large majority which is evident in their reviews. It's hard for a lot of them to hide their bias.

It's not all bad to see other point of views from people that use the "other" phone as long as they aren't doing a bash phone party.

It bothers me when they aren't shy about hiding their biases. Biases are inherent in everything we do, but on a somewhat-objective platform like reviewing, it has to be kept on the back burner.

Yeah, but they don't actually add anything meaningful to their reviews. They go through the specs and say it's an alright device and that's it. Like MKBHD and iJustine, their reviews are entirely worthless. Not sure why they get tons of views.

Because they show people what they want.

Let's face it, most people know what brand they are getting. They just need feedback on the latest model to know whether to buy or not.
