It worked great! It down loaded to my sd card and then I followed the instructions on the video that was posted in the Note 2 forum . It was easy!

Has anyone actually gotten the OTA lately?

Some people got it already but not here in Dalllas at least where I'm at. One guy who is in Killeen, TX. which is about 3 hrs drive from Dallas said he got it but no luck here yet. Hopefully soon.

I know there is a manual download floating around out there but I like to wait it out for the ota.... Be all official like.

Ok so I returned to the stock recovery but when I try to update with the file I get Error Status 7. Help?

I really recommend you watch the video posted in this thread that walks you through the entire process of the manual update:
http://forums.androidcentral.com/sp...182-how-manually-update-ljc-multi-window.html

I'm a noob as well, and this helped me a lot - my manual update was smooth and successful.

His instructions are great! I did the following:
1. Downloaded straight to the GN2 from the first link
2. Opened My Files
3. Navigated to internal sdcard/Download
4. Found the LJC update
5. Long pressed to bring up screen to Move file
6. Moved file to external SD card: i created a new folder called Updates
7.powered off
8. Held the Vol up with Power button with Home button for Recovery Mode
9. Selected Apply update from external storage, clicked power button
10. Selected UPDATE (different from qbKing77, probably because I didn't load the update from my computer directly to the ext SD card)
11. Selected the LJC update and hit the power button
Phone installed and it worked!

This worked great! The install was pretty straight forward. Once the file was located in recovery the phone did the rest.

My phone runs well!

I would swear that my phone seems to run a little faster since the update. Anyone else experiencing this?

If I do the manual OTA will this prevent me from getting OTA's in the future? Why do you guys think people are not getting the OTA on the device? This happened on my 10.1 too. What is up with Samsung and OTA's
