I had this problem on my Epic. I found HoS in autostarts under Time Changed and Timezone Changed. I just blocked it in both and didn't have a problem.
I saw the same thing in AppBrain, as well. Clicked on it, and it took me to the Market page for the app... strange that it would even show up. But it wanted $4.99 for it, so I didn't install the update, since I got it for free. How is appbrain doing updates to gameloft games? I thought appbrain just went through the normal market?
That's exactly my plan. Does anyone know if the uninstall process will also get rid of all the crap it downloaded after the initial install? Or do I have to manually remove them from my SD?Call me crazy but I want to beat the darn game first before uninstalling it, even though I am having the exact same issue. FC when I reboot, but that's it.
Yeah unfortunately the fixes are for rooted evo's only.@Evo
Does that app only work on rooted phones? I have the issue on my DInc and would like to try it. I played the game a time or two and it was fun. Hate to lose it by uninstalling it.
As I got the game for free and don't have any other Gameloft games, I assume that uninstalling it would mean I won't be able to install it again anyway, unless I pay for it, so how would that be different if I deleted everything in the Gameloft folder?I wouldn't delete the files you downloaded for the game as Gameloft games are known to kick you out saying this isn't an original copy. Either way the fix I spoke about a few posts up works. Not a single force close since. I wonder if it will work for all Gameloft game problems. I'm gonna email Jerry about to see if he can give me a better understanding of what's going on with this.

ok maybe I confused you with my answer earlier. What I mentioned was as long as you have the files in the Gameloft folder you can uninstall the game. This way if you want to play it again later just instal the apk and your good. The Gameloft files howerevr must stay otherwise it will tell youyour copy isn't the original and not go any further. your Nova is having the same issue as heros of Sparta? As for the avatar game wow really I guess i shouldnt be surprised though our evo' s dont have the most powerful gpu.I haven't played it yet, tonight I will give it a try and let you all know how it is.
It's a bit laggy, I really wish my nova worked though.
