Hey everyone...hoping someone can help me with this very annoying pop up problem.

Several times a day, the Play Store pops up the install page for Powerful Cleaner (boost and clean). I have Lookout, which says nothing is wrong. I have downloaded some others to scan and see if Lookout is missing something to no avail. Coincidentally (or not), this started the day after my 30 day free trial of Malwarebytes ended. I uninstalled it, no change. No rhyme or reason, it pops up very randomly and always the same app. I can be playing a game, watching YouTube (app, not browser), it makes no difference. Have had an OS security update recently which did not fix. Please, please make it stop. Details on my phone are below. Really trying to avoid a factory reset if possible. Thanks so much.

Try going into settings, notifications and block play store.
Boot up in safe mode and kill the app from there

Welcome to Android Central! I suspect adware that was installed alongside another app. Unfortunately, this means having to uninstall apps one by one until the problem goes away. Or doing a factory reset, and then reinstalling apps one by one to see if and when the problem comes back.

Before you get as drastic as a factory reset, uninstall all suspect apps and clear the cache then reboot. Check under battery usage when this pop up occurs and you will see what app is open which could be causing this.
