This is new to me! I used to have a Blackberry, but switched to the HTC Thunderbolt bc there were more games. I also own a Kindle Fire to read and game. (For gaming, I also have my laptop, desktop, XBox 360 & PS3).
As a gamer I am a bit of a unicorn since I am a 50-something female. When I play MMO's like SWTOR or Mass Effect 3, the younger players assume I am playing my grandkids' games. (I don't have kids or grandkids). I've worked as a nurse and attorney. I live in New England with my chihuahuas who are the center of my world.
No!! I am not your typical eccentric old lady, either!
I am not above trying out games that are not "exactly" made for my device. Even when I get an error message that a certain game is not made for my phone I can often get it to run with a little tweaking. It never hurts to try, right? I am pretty snobby about graphics so I am more willing than some to fork out a few dollars to obtain a good game with decent graphics. I feel strongly about supporting indie games and apps.
SciFi games are my first choice; although recently I have started playing games like Dragon Age, Oblivion and Skyrim. While I'm always on the hunt for fun space operas/space combat RPG's - I can't stand micromanagement and have yet to try a strategy game I enjoy. (I have tried most space themed strategy games). Classic PC favorites are Privateer, Wing Commander, Freelancer, etc. I'm always open to hearing about new space games that other gamers have discovered, so feel free to give me a shout to tell me about your gaming experience. I am a hardware queen and enjoy reading up on new technology of all kinds.
