Hey, GOOGLE? How about another $25 credit for the 16gig owners?

For all the early adopters, say every 16gig owner who registered their device in the first sixty days, an extra $25 in Google credits [just like before] to assuage the regret of not getting the extra storage that you now realize that we so obviously needed and wanted in the first place? This just brings our net cost down to the new [supposed] price, makes us happy and keeps all the money in the GooglePlex system!
I certainly would have bought a 32gig unit if it had been available or would have waited if I had known it was coming so soon.
Give us a reason to feel good about you....

I don't see it happening, but I'd definitely be very pleasantly surprised.

We know Google staff checks out this forum, so, maybe if everybody jumps on this thread and asks for the consideration, Google might go along.
Worth the posting... or just give it a "Like" and lets see what happens.

Most ideal would be a "send in your 16gb and get the new 32gb for $50" deal. That's the ONLY way I'd upgrade to a 32; otherwise, I don't need the extra 16gb enough to justify selling the device and waiting for the 32gb one.

If they give us 16GB early adopters another $25 Play credit because of a price drop, should they give the owners of discontinued 8GB models a $50 credit? :D :D

Just give everyone a 32GB Nexus, a $5,000,000 Play Store credit, a new Ferrari, and a pet unicorn that eats garbage and poops calorie-free whipped topping, and watch them complain that a new Ferrari came out two months after they were given theirs that was in a slightly nicer color, and that the whipped topping was not to their liking.

I keed! I keed!

Mostly. :P

I purchased DOS and then I upgraded to Windows a few years later. Got nothing from Microsoft. I'm still upset. The nerve of them! ;)

I would have waited for sure. I just got mine just over a week ago, and I TOTALLY would have waited, depending on the price of course. I would gladly take another $25 credit to my Google Wallet for my trouble ;) hahaha

Where did you buy it? If it was from a local store, almost every store that sells the Nexus has at least a 14-day "no questions asked" return policy. Factory-reset that puppy, package it back up, and take it back to the store. Chances are, you'll be able to buy the same thing cheaper or something nicer for the same price next week. Or at least once any overdemand settles down, which might take a week or three.

Well the 32GB owners won't be getting the credit so it's fair enough, although I would have loved 32.

If a unicorn poop'd calorie free whipped topping, I still wouldn't eat it.

I agree. I got the nexus 7 on the week it was release. The 16gb version to find out that a 32gb coming out at the same price! Not to happy about that

Geez, here we go again! Please excuse my whining about the whiners, but... geeeeeez!! I love free speech, but good god, can we give this a break already?! OK, I'll just copy and paste what I wrote in one of the other many threads from the past couple weeks that this thread mimics:

The entitlement mentality of some people just amazes me.

"They didn't sell exactly what I wanted in the first place, but I bought it anyway, so now give me something for free, since they're finally going to sell what I really want."

Amazing.

lol think it took a couple days to get the news out of my system but I think I'm OK again. Might see another flare up on 10/29 :D
