HEY!! It's been five days, where is my X?

I heard getting it engraved might take longer than 4 days. And I'm sure the high demand for this phone might make it take longer. But once things are running smoothly I think they could do it. I have faith.

The general complaining that occurs with any new phone launch.

that's my least favorite part of releases of popular anything. :D. The Kindle Paperwhite, omg, 'ZOMG!!! IT'S NOT TOTALLY WHITE LIKE THE PHOTOS!!!!! ZOMG!'

dear heavens. People were sending kindles back 6, 7 and 8 times trying to get one that looked that the advertisiment, it was crazy. etc, etc, etc.

this will be no different. He's right, it'll be OMG, WHERE IS IT!!!!!!! IT'S BEEN SIX DAYS, this is ridiculous! i'm never buying from them ever again!

ugh. lol.

Well. there it is, from the horses mouth

Here's the full paragraph from Motorola's blog post, emphasis ours:

We?ll be working hard to get your customized Moto X to you as quickly as possible. We expect that because of high demand, initial shipping times may vary. But we will get that down to 4 days or less as soon as we possibly can. We?ll also be adding digital printing in the future, so you can include a personal message on the back of your Moto X.

Which proves...absolutely nothing. Basic supply and demand. Demand is extremely high right now and supply (and labor) is limited, so its going to take longer.

They made no promises. As a matter of fact, when moto maker actually became available to the public, they made it clear initial orders may take longer.
